Spicy Breakfast Stew is a delicious way to warm up when you’re sick and need something hearty and filling. It’s thick and rich, but still light enough for breakfast. And the best part? It only takes 15 minutes to make!

We’ll show you how to make a Spicy Breakfast Stew in less than 15 minutes with one pot on your stovetop. We’ve used chicken stock as well as vegetable broth (which adds extra nutrients) along with potatoes and onions for extra fiber and other vitamins. You could use any type of protein you like—we recommend lean turkey bacon or ground beef—and if you don’t have any fresh parsley on hand, feel free to substitute with any herb that suits your taste buds best (we like fresh oregano).

This recipe was originally intended as a breakfast dish, but it quickly became a versatile entrée.

Ingredients
  

  • Parsley root, carrot,a celeryroot and a large green leek
  • 4 Potatoes
  • 1 Pound Beef
  • 1/4 Pound Fresh beef marrow or butter
  • 1 tbsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • Take a large parsley root, a carrot of the same size, a celeryroot, a large green leek and 4 medium sized potatoes, wash them very carefully
  • Scrape or peel them, rinse in cold water and cut into fine slices.
  • Cut 1 pound of beaf tenderloin into veryt thin slices nad mix everything well together, adding salt and ground pepper.
  • Heat in an open pan 1/4 pound of fresh beef marrow or butter , put in the meat and vegetables and fry until of an amber color, turning often, cover the pan and let it simmer on top of stove for 15-30 minutes or until done.
  • Serve with wheat bread.
