Potato Balls (Rissoles)
Ingredients
- 2 pound Potatoes
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 2 Eggs
- few spoonfuls of sour cream
Instructions
- Cook the potatoes in salted water, drain entirely dry and mash.
- Mix them with a few eggs, a piece of butter , nutmeg according to taste, and a few spoonfuls of sour cream.
- Then roll into small balls , sprinkle them with rolled crackers and fry in butter.
- For the family table potatoes left over can be used, which are mashed, mixed with egg and fried as above.
- These potatoes balls make a nice adjunct to greens or lettuce.
